Transportation
Prince George is located at the junction of Highway 97 (runs North-South) and Highway 16 (runs East-West). The provincial and federal governments have invested in road infrastructure within Northern BC. A current project includes widening Highway 97 from Cache Creek to Prince George to four lanes.

The Prince George International Airport has the fourth longest runway in Canada and provides air service to both domestic and international destinations. Air Canada, Central Mountain Air, Pacific Coastal and WestJet operate out of YXS with multiple flights every day to Vancouver, Calgary, Victoria, Kelowna, Kamloops, Smithers, Terrace/Kitimat, Fort Nelson and Fort St. John.
