The town of Whitecourt, Alberta, is located approximately 177km northwest of Edmonton and 279km southeast of Grande Prairie at the junction of Highway 43 and Highway 32. Whitecourt is located within Woodlands County at the confluence of the Athabasca River, McLeod River, Sakwatmau Rive and Beaver Creek.
