Wabush is a small town in the western tip of Labrador, bordering the province of Quebec. The area is known for it's iron ore operations.
Wabush is the twin community of Labrador City and together they are known as Labrador West.
The population of Wabush in the 2021 census was 1964 with the most of those residents employed by the nearby mine.
Labrador Wet offers excellent medical and educational facilities. Crime rates are among the lowest in Canada. There are exceptional recreational facilities including an 18-hole golf course, an Arts and Culture Centre that regularly features international talents, world class X-country ski trails, alpine skiing, indoor swimming pool, skating rinks, gymnasiums, restaurants, bars and taverns. Both communities boast a high level of volunteerism, sports enthusiasts, musicians, artists and artisans.

Tamarack Golf Club
The Tamarack Golf Club is the most northern course in Eastern Canada. It is carved out of the natural wilderness of Labrador, and offers a beautifully designed 18-hole course that brings the golfer in true contact with nature. The fairways are surrounded by black spruce and offer a unique tranquility as golfers traverse each fun and challenging hole. Several holes offer picturesque views of the surrounding Duley Lake.
